I may have done something very silly.
In message Not in the slightest. Have you had a Morini before ? I've not been without one since my first 75 Strada. The grin factor to be gained from a ride on a Morini is hard to beat , given the right kind of road - preferably a nice twisty 'B' road. Never had a 500, but had a go on one. The Voxan rides gratifyingly like a big, big Morini, which is why I acquired it. -- +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Moto Guzzi Mille GT/Squire RS3 Gilera Nordwest | | Gilera GFR Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-----------------------------------------------------------------+
Well, the France Steed choice works like this: 1. Weather iffy - Trophy. Nice big fairing, etc. 2. Weather fine - Ducati. YKIMS. 3. Weather really hot and sunny and absolutely no chance of rain - 400 Four. 4. Weather really hot and sunny and absolutely no chance of rain, and wind blowing from Bologna - Morini. 5. Weather immaterial, but pranged Trophy, fouled Ducati Spark plug, stolen 400 Four, broken-down Morini - Honda CD250.
<Worried> Now I *know* I've done something silly. And if I bring it down to your neck of the woods, what are the odds on a salivating Timo appearing out of the undergrowth, his right hand reflexively twisting like a spastic?
The Older Gentleman said... Is he having problems with his wrists again, or has someone put a Schmeisser MP-40 in front of him and mentioned Poland?
Prawn wrote <Nah. I've quite fancied Morinis. They are not built with a taller Speaking as a 6 foot tall owner of a Morini, that's the worst excuse I've heard for some time....
