I saw one yesterday, quite nice in an imitation Bandit sorta way. BTW
why did you go for the Honda rather than the Suzuki?

I've always ridden Honda since I passed my test quite a while ago.
Seemed like a logical step to be honest.

The test ride that I had on the faired version (the dealer didn't have a
naked version that would have been rideable) was more in keeping with my
comfort zone (upright). I also test rode a Hornet. Great fun, but
after a 20 minute blat I came back with aching wrists. Most of my
weight (and there is a lot of it) was forwards on my wrists.

Shame you didn't get to try the new Bandit then, I think they look
rather good and amazing for the money.

But it's not a Honda. £4300 OTR for a brand new faired 650 Bandit with
ABS does make good sense, especially if you take advantage of the 3 yrs,
£1 down, 0% finance deal. Don't keep it outside if you live on the coast
    though.

The Honda's look no better and the new Bandits look rather well
    finished. Paging Sean.

I have a feeling the CBF600s are made in Italy, so you can expect
quality to be slightly lower than Suzuki are capable of.

I saw a fairly new CBF on Saturday. It was looking decidedly furry
    around the gills.
