As is customary. Now, shall I run a book on how long it takes to go bang?
I managed to have an RGV for years without it going bang. I find the best thing is not to actually ride it, and just start the engine for a few minutes every 2 or 3 months.

It's a twin, so half as long as a single naturally. -- +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Gilera Nordwest Yamaha WR250Z | | Gilera GFR * 2 Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-------------------------------------------------------------+

About four kicks from cold. First kick when warm. **** me, what a wonderful toy. Absolutely gutless bottom end as expected, usable from around 7 or 8k but something truly magical happens at 10k when the last valve opens. What a sound! Went past that bike dealer on the A40 (Triumph, Harley, I forget which) on the way back and every single head turned. Something not quite right in the rolling parts, bit of grinding going on at low speed, so I'll have the wheels out and check the bearings etc, but the handling's absolutely sublime. I think I have a new favourite toy.
