I think the bobbins would be a good investment.

I had a Givi wingrack and hard side cases on the K2. They made even a
Morini a bit wide in the beam. The wingrack could hardly spoil the looks
though as the last 3 1/2 s took on a typical 80's 'angular' style.

Your new Kwak looks like a real mile eater.

It is - even running in it's fast and comfortable. 160 miles this
morning on a very busy A1 and M1 - Just over 2 hours and an average of
48 mpg. Now to try it on some twisties!

Hard cases just suck. Look for some similar size softies. Better in
    every way IMHO

The pillion accommodation has yet to be put to the test (other than a
sit-on before purchase). On the TA, Pat's knees got sorer than her bum
    (fnar).

If it turns out she's less comfortable over long distances on the ZZR
then we'll try a softer seat and/or more stops. Neither she nor I see
    that as an insurmountable problem.

It'll be a 3 stage pearl unless Kwak have REALLY gone banana's with their
paint, so not much more expensive than a normal metallic paint. A difference
in paint cost (and an extra clour to buy) plus a little more time for the
job. Roughly 20% more expensive than straight metallic.

    Er, Colin....

You can have a go on any of my bikes and if you're really lucky you
can have a go as passenger in my latest sidecar when I get it sorted.

    Indeed it does. Very spiffy.
I want something different to the Blackbird, not something very
similar but newer. Anyroad, that's looking like a March '09 purchase
now. I've got a CBX wot needs MOTing first.

All right - I'm cutting me own throat here but you can have a go,
free, gratis and for nothing - and I don't want anything in return. I
can't say fairer than that can I?
