The modern styles must be taking their place. I actually preferred the
looks of the 1150RT and the earlier more rounded K1200GT, but the 1200RT is
lighter and more powerful than the 1150. I'm quite fond of the looks of the
    bike now.

I admit I chose the bike mostly on sentiment - I've liked RTs since I first
saw them under gendarmes in France in the '70s. But it was a practical
choice too; I can easily carry all my rock climbing gear. We're off for a
week's climbing in southern Switzerland tomorrow, starting by crossing the
    Simplon pass.

Ah. That would make my sig quite warlordable, but you might be younger than
me. Or better at keeping them.

    I hate you.

    Anyway, where's the KotUKRMRM#?

Hey, I think I might qualify for that! Is there a minimum grade? Is there a
snow and ice, er, monkeys list as well?

not bad, but the front mudguard is hideous, and king-and-queen seats
    are gay.

Well, that's kind of what I asked where the KotL was...
    I doubt it.
Don't think so; maybe you can ask the KotUKRMRM# for a "special" number.

Go on, I didn't mean it like that. I'm sure he'd be delighted.

They're all like that. It wouldn't bother me - it's okay in a "kinda retro"
way. As for the K&Q, it's smaller and less gay than the standard seat.

    Probly more comfortable too.

I would too. It was great. There's not much wrong with living in the Alps
    and riding a motorbike.

BTW, aparrently I'm Hyde to your Jeckyll. Or Jekyll to WC's Hyde. As well
as being in a quantum superposition with someone who knows something about
bikes. I'm beginning to detect a pattern here. Perhaps I'm a collective
UKRM alter ego. I never thought this would happen when I took my test.

It's some kind of anti-Evil-Twin thing, as far as I can make out.
