Got a bit cocky and tired after the third session at Donington[1].

And rode off with my disc-lock on. Anyone got a front mudguard for a
K8 Thou in black lying around?

[1] Ron Haslam Race School. Excellent fun again. Clive Horton was
    doing the briefings
    (http://www.racinglines.co.uk/html/cliveprofile.html). He's highly
entertaining in a WW2 RAF officer kind of way.

  4. Ride at a less pikey track and you wouldn't need a disk lock.

  5. You disc-lock your bike between sessions? That sort of thing was never
necessary in my day. Mind, I never rellay had a nickable bike.

Yes, today. Track was fine. Must have been the rain yesterday that
    sorted it out.

  10. We've all done it. Get one of those bright plastic coily thread things
    to attach to it.

I did it with a fucking full chain on my last ZZR100, it made a nice black
stripe up the drive & a new rear wheel & chain guard was required :) It took
a real big chunk out of the wheel. Thick **** that I am.

Not all of us. Some are not daft enough to get a disc lock in the first place.

  14. If you attach it to the clutch lever, as my son does (yes, he did it
too), it's just about impossible to miss. In daylight, anyway.

  15. Well, quite. The only time I ever did it was on a Harley, of all things,
and a loaned disc lock. I've never used once since.

I did it at the bike show at ExCel.

Had to come home in a van.

I'm actually surprised that I've managed to go 14 years without it
    happening before.

Now to find out how much Suzuki want for the fender. My guess is
    "lots".
