A couple of mates have suggested a weekend at the British MotoGP round
and as Mum and Dad dont live far from Silverstone it looks like a goer!

Does anyone know if they will be doing the Thursday "open day" like
they used to do at Donington Park?

If Im making the trip then it would be worthwhile to get down there on
    the Thursday if so.

The Silverstone website doesnt say much.

    Anyone else gonna go?

Considering it but haven't looked up the prices yet. I hope they haven't got
similar stupidly high prices to the F1 prices.

Starts at 60 quid for a weekend pass, up to 135 for a "Platiunum" Pass.

    **** that. Sunday alone is £55 + £2.50 booking fee + £6 special delivery
    charge.

Last one I saw in the UK was at Donnington and Jackie & I got in for free
with my disabled badge. Even without it, tickets were £35.

    Silverstone rip off non-shocker.
