Great to see. Allegedly, Ten Kate get some help from Honda Europe but none from Honda Japan. It's such a shame that when WSB finally gets the rules about right, they can't get some decent riders on decent machinery. This year I think all four Japanese factories could have been competitive with a bit of effort and some good riders. Apart from Haga and Vermeulen, ride of the day has to be Jamie Ellison. He's a true privateer doing what Shakey Byrne did 4 years ago. Build the best bike you can with no money and just race the thing as hard as you can. Up to 2 weeks ago they hadn't even taken the head off that bike. It's just an R1 with a pipe and a set of forks, brakes, wheels and stuff off the Harris shelf.
I will give it to Foret. I've seen the last 3 laps of WSS and it's incredible how he manage to stay in front of the 2 Ten Kate Honda
Chili was another impressive rider. I'm not sure why he had to start so far back, but in both races he tore through the field in no time, podium in race one and a good chance for another in race 2 until he crashed out. If he'd had a better grid position he would have been dicing with the front guys too. Although I was glad to see the only honda on the grid kick a bunch of Ducati a** bruce
