For the first time in ten years a machine with more than one cylinder
has won the NHCA speed hill climb overall championship. This is at least
partly due to the champion for the last few years not being able to ride
his Honda CR in the last few meetings as a result of injury.

All credit though to Paul Jarret for taking the championship on his
Aprilia SXV550 by staying by just 1000th of a second ahead of his
closest rival in the top ten run off at Hartland Quay last Sunday.
Although it has to be said that the run off was actually won by a
Hartland specialist on a borrowed two-stroke single *250*.

    Here he is at Gurston:

Oh, and specially for Gyp here is the road legal championship winner at
Prescott (victorious over an R1 and supercharged Bandit, though I did
    beat him at Shelsley Walsh):

For comparison, Champ on the same corner:

There are so many OT posts these days that I assumed that this was
    about the Hit Parade.

Why do you think I didn't put a link to a photo of me?
