You miss the point by a country mile, move each user's mailbox onto their own gmail account, set up the the mailbox redirects at your DNS provider. switch the server off, save electricity, save the planet. Running your own email server at home is so 1998.
You are so definitely management material now. Outsource everything! So, using this Gmail, how would you create custom email spam blocks to stop certain headers? Or decide which RBLs are used? (there's a reason I'm happy to use real email addresses everywhere, and why I get maybe 2~3 spam emails a week. I couldn't do that if I couldn't fine tune the email server) And what about the NNTP, FTP, web, DNS, DHCP servers and the audio/video/other files shared on the server? Ain't going to work. Did you forget how to build servers in 1998? :)
