Slow. So very, very slow

  1. So she didn't get an SR in the end [1], but saw the Yamaha XV125's and
fell in lust. Found a nice-ish one for just under a grand (I know)
about 60 miles away.So as a favour, I chucked my kit in the back of
her car and off we trot. Check over done, and money handed over, and I
hop on to ride it 3rd party back to hers.

OMFG it's been about 20 years and 20 stone since I rode a low power
(even for a) 4 stroke 125. On the flat it would finally reach about 60
    - 65 indicated (so no idea of the real speed), and once, down a very
long hill finally saw 70 mph indicated. Really, just don't. Having
said that I did spend a lot of time shouting into my helmet "I want
that R1", "I want one of those[2]", and "Yes, yes, yesssssss!!" when I
    saw 70.

They do look the business, and big for a 125, but please don't.

So glad to get back on my 990 Adventure it was not real.

    Cheers

    SS
