    Hi,

I have a Sukida 4 stroke moped which has suddenly started to become
very sluggish when full throttle is applied and wondered if there is
any advice someone could give as to the cause of this symptom.

Basically the bike used to get up to 40mph at full throttle but now,
after two month of sitting in my garage, the bike barely reaches 20mph
and sometimes cuts out when coming to a stop.

Any ideas to what the problem may be? Any help appreciated.

    Regards,
    Sean

I'd personally check the fuel filter first before
doing that, but it definitely sounds fuel related.

Have a look at the diaphragm in the carb as these disintegrate if not used
as you might find on lawn mowers. Change that and the performance will
    return.

    Cheers

    Do you guarantee that?

I would start by looking for the mice or bird's nest in the airbox,
as well as all the other stuff.

Pah. It's a moped. Back in the Good Old Days he'd have been hung, drawn
    and quartered by now.

I just ignore the original post and move on if it's about a moped or a
    scooter.

Should I feel proud because I told my youngest to either put a jumper
on or remove the Lambretta T shirt he was wearing earlier this week?

Kids, eh? They always seem to know the right buttons to push to wind up the
    parents.

Do you live in the south-east and fill up at supermarkets?
