Mate, for one... I didn't see Geoff consuming straight nips of Wild
Turkey at last call at Joe's!

Two... there's no bar at Port Arthur, unlike the Guinness Pie, and
associated pint, we had with Kev at Salamanca for breakfast!

Three... not to mention the pints of Kilkenny we had at The Replublic
bar after!

Four... if I had more than ten minutes to get dressed after the
security screening at Slowbart Airport (mate, put me thru naked and
I'll still make it beep) _and_ Marion hadn't buggered off before the
shout... and they wanted me to board early...

Five... never fly through Shitme, get hassled, and end up getting home
three hours after landing. Thank **** I wasn't pretending I wasn't
pissed!

 

Damn Hip Hop Hippies! **** it was loud just having a smoke... then
there was the real sound check inside!

We'll be back down for the propper bithday mate, but don't tell anyone!

Stuff it, I've got to respond, even if it does attract the yipping
hyenas again!

A couple of things here Theo

Firstly, it was me who started this charade, not George Frost or
Gerry, and it is not fair to lump them into it.

Secondly, at no time did I ever say or even imply that I was upset by
not being invited. What was read into what I said was quite different
from what was written. Attempts to correct the wrong impression were
met with opportunistic sarcasm, so I gave up.

That's all.

I knew you'd be targeted for not getting on their bandwagon. The
"Inner Circle" don't like anyone who exposes their bullshit.
Nonconformists have to be excommunicated. It's the only way to run a
"tight ship" according to Capt Clem Queeg.

If you don't stop this recalcitrant behaviour, George, I'm afraid
Clem's Clique will have you killfiled in no time flat. Oh, and IK
will label you an "attention seeker" and tell you to "go kill
yourself".

But I somehow figure you're not like the sycophants these bullies like

May I advise you as to where you can put harsh week and the horse it
rode in on?

 

I have met a few, and without exception they are nice blokes (and
blokettes). It's disappointing that some of them (not all) come across
as self righteous little tits here. It's probably the well known
characteristic of text postings - reinforcing extremes or somesuch.
At least I hope that's all it is.
