Not beyond the bounds of possibility due to various tools available to
emergency services to do this very thing but the reality I would doubt
but not really be surprised if I was wrong.


Although that said I once attended a meeting between Met, GLC (it was a
long time ago) Inner London Type Committee and the Companies where the
Met said they didn't really see the point as changing the lights made
**** all difference to the traffic and they were pretty well practised
at making progress without confusing the issues.

 

Suspicious... At 1:00 in the video, pressing the button instantaneously
turns the light to green, which means the crossing road never sees any
amber...
