Qualified 9th for DD in wet conditions with a 1:38.31 lap
and some nice slides as well. There was no qualification
for the SV class as they raced the day before and the grids
carried over, so I would start from the back in 40th place!

DD Race 1: Track was dry, 4th into the first corner and
fought for places. Finished 8th with a 1:26.00 lap and
a quick trip across the grass at The Esses having gone
into 7th, so lost it again and couldn't catch back for
    8th place.

DD Race 2: Race was red flagged after 8 laps (of 10) and
I was holding 7th with a 2s gap to 8th. Fastest lap of
    1:27.20 this time out.

SV Race 1: Started from 40th spot on the grid, very last
row and need binoculars to see the lights, but we were on
a mixed grid of Honda Hairnets, F400s (ZXR/RVFs/etc) and
the SV bikes. Finished 4th in class (26th overall) with a
1:26.36 lap time, beating DD rival Ali on the last lap as
    we'd been scrapping all race.

SV Race 2: Started from 40th spot again, and it was the
last race of the day so not trying too hard. Had a huge
scrap with one of the slower Hairnet riders, swapping
places every corner for him to come blasting back past
me on the straights. Finished 3rd in class (28th overall)
    with a 1:27.31 lap.

Fucking chuffed to get under 1:30 at Snetterton on a
63bhp bike, and really, really surprised to have put
in a 1:26 dead! The bike is going well, and I'm now
grinding out the fairings with the revised suspension,
so time to adjust it again for more ground clearance.

Now joint 5th in the championship, 2 races remaining
    at Cadwell Park next month.

Well done, Ant. It seems that when ukrmers race, they
    don't mess about!
Good luck - can you get 4th or is beating the other
5th placed guy a better bet?

    Current standings are:

    1 Dominic Cann (23) 369 (2006 Champion)
    2 Ian Leah (42) 269
    3 Andrew Johnson (36) 241
    4 Alastair Bisson (7) 234
    5 Antony Espindola (111) 232
    5 Tim Howard (5) 232
    7 Nick Boustead (34) 194
    8 Peter Yates (9) 191
    9 Eric Howe (69) 188
    10 Richard Thirkettle (74) 162

The good news (for me!) is that Andy Johnson is no
longer riding in the championship, so he is heading
south down the table. I have been battling with Tim
this weekend, but he has been quicker than me on
many occasions, but if I can keep ahead of him at
Cadwell then I may go into 4th place.

Cool. It's all pretty tight apart from Cann isn't it?

Once again - good luck for Cadwell.
