She started it! But yeah - I was a **** for coming back for more.
I went back from Melbourne after a couple of months and said, "So you
going to hit me or come down the pub for lunch and a couple of beers?"

He came to the pub.

He and his new girlfriend came and stayed with us in Melbourne a year
later. Life moves on.

 

Many many years ago, and I may have already told this story, my ex of
the time was shagging one of my mates called Steve. I caught them at it
round another mate's house while Steve was house sitting for him and
quietly walked away and drove off. He was shitting himself for days
thinking I was going to murder him, but it was her I was angry with.

Mates asked why I hadn't given Steve the kicking of his life - I told
them I could easily find a new girlfriend, but mechanics like Steve
were few and far between and there was no way I was losing him as a
mate. My ex heard this and came to see me to give me grief about it, I
soon told her to **** right off.

When my car needs repairing I still take it to Steve.
