So what are your picks for Turkey?

  1. I, along with many others are tired of morbid ramblings on this
newsgroup and I am looking towards all of you sages to try to get some kind
of a grip on what might happen this weekend. So... Julian, Mark, Champ,
Tom and those who aspire to be the elite BS'ers of this newsgroup: whose
going to be on the podium this weekend and why?

Just Curious, as I'm tired of reading the same old shit,

    Craig

P.S. The American Vs. Euro argument just has to go away, if racing is really
80% rider and 20% machine how the hell did Bayliss win the final round last
year? Because he had nothing to lose?

Err, Rossi? Afterall he's got his own personal tester(Edwards) and with no
one having 800 experience there that will prolly give him the edge needed..
Because Hayden didn't need to win, as Vale had crashed?

Speaking of 'Merkans vs the world, will Spies continue to bash MasterMat?
Maybe, but given recent history it's fairly safe to say there will be at
least one, prolly two Gxxrz on the box this weekend in Bamaham....

Stoner looks awfully quick so far. I predict Stoner to win, followed
    by Rossi and Pedrosa.

I'm going for Stoner, he did well last year and appears to be on fire
so far in todays practice. Rossi, Pedrosa, Hopkins and possibly
Melandri are all candidates for 2nd and 3rd spots, I'll go for Rossi
    2nd and Hopkins 3rd.

I'll back Rossi on this one. Stoner does very well, or falls off for the
    first time this year....

Rossi, Stoner and Hayden. Edwards will battle early then fade.

I agree about the battle but I'm going for Stoner, he has showed real
class and consistant fast laps during practice, Rossi 2nd, prob Ped
3rd, I hope Hopkins can pull one out of the bag and get a good
result. I also ponder it been a tyre race, the Stones have been
faster during practice but the Mich got the qual, but the Stones
appear to have more durability than the Mich judging by recent form so
it could be a Stones podium, in that case Stoner, Cap and Hopkins,
    hope I'm right there!!!

    Mark N speculates:
Betting against Rossi is typically a bad bet. Tomorrow it seems
a really bad bet to me.

Something he and his crew have never done before. So don't
bet on it, in spite of Honda throwing new frames, clutches, who
    knows what else at him.

Aye, there's the rub. If you and the team can't figure out how to
    make
the bike work for you, you're sunk. These are the most adjustable,
adaptable bikes ever thanks to electronics (and all the stuff they've
been able to change forever) but if the team can't find a set up the
rider can ride, Rossi is going to beat you. Cause he and his team
    can.
    Yea right.

    Go fast. Take chances.
