Sob! End of an era

    Tonight I said goodbye to my first ever bike - a bitsa DT125. Had it
    for over a quarter of a century.

    Trouble was, it really needed a massive amount of time and money
    spending on it and it really wasn't up to 50 miles of dual carriageway
    commuting as a hack.

    I'm still amazed at how much I got for it on ebay.

    Cost me HK$800 in 197-something. Oh, plus some of the crate space it
    took up bringing it to the UK.
