These sums of money will buy a nice C4. Why would you go elsewhere.

I'll have to think on ;)
Never quite got the idea about 'nice' interiors. Except TVR's :)
    For the septics AIUI
No idea on that. In any event, it'll all change by the time I actually
    get the money.

Definitely worth a try. Haven't they gone bust again, though?

Bear () gurgled happily, sounding much like they
    were saying :
There's a 54-plate Maser GT at an office just over the road from mine.
Well, it's there probably two weeks of every three. The third week, he's in
    a hire car.

OK, the guy seems to think it's got a binary throttle, but...

Or maybe he's suggesting something that explodes easily, so he must be
agreeing that a Maserati is the way to go.

You'll be unsurprised to hear that I disagree completely. The sound
alone makes them right for *any* country, & the handling is what you'd
expect from a big, heavy, mass-market GT car designed in the '60s. The
    post-83 C4 is a different matter - there's no excuse for those.
I can honestly say I've never seen a Corvette in a pikey camp. The
occasional yank pick-up or 'day-van', yes, but not a 'vette.

Well if I had the choice right now, I'd have the boomerangs, and hang
the handling issues it's supposed to have.

Ahh,, no. You see my shirts do not have white collars [1] and I rarely
    wear braces.

Every Porsche owner that I currently know (with the exception of Darsy,
whom IIRC, owns a Porsche) has been a biut if a tit.

    [1] Unless it's a white shirt, obviously.
