  10. Ah! Coo, yeah, some nice stuff here. Nice 400/4.... Even a CB360!

Oh, WOW! A Z750 twin! I wants one of them.

And there's a Kawasaki racer that looks like it's a KH250, of all
    things, Definitely not a 500 or 750.

Champ vaguely muttered something like ...
    Awwwwww, that's sweeeet .. ;)

We had a 250 Samurai once, many moons ago, before we got a KH ... It always
made me wonder why the steering damper knob never seemed to make much
difference, unless it was in as far and as tight as possible .. ;)

That one's the same KH as I had, though I didn't have the wider bars, small
indicators, K&N's or expansion chambers .. though I _did_ have a braided
front brake line .. and I fitted a steering damper to that one .. bottom
fork yoke mounted to top of frame ..

Japan and US/Canada got that styling, unfortunately we didn't. Over in
US and Canada they were called the F and G model. Our F was the normal
for us coffin tank shape with very minor changes over the E. Strangely,
the US models are a step ahead of ours in suffixes, and their E model
had a lovely coffin tank with a less square top where it met the seat,
much nicer than ours. Also US models didn't get electronic ignition
until the Daytona G model IIRC, whereas we got it on our 1978 E.

In the US the F and G were white with a wide red stripe/gold pinstripe
and called the Daytona. They had all this stupid butterfly arrangement
on the exhaust downpipes to get them through emmissions control. The
Canucks didn't get all that shit on theirs and they were just known as
    the RD400F and G.

I really want a Canadian model RD400G, but they are as rare as rocking
horse shit and fetch a fortune over here, like 4 or 5 grand in mint
    condition.

Mine's the Yamaha anorak neatly folded on the chair :)

    Bad form etc..but

If anyone wants to know about US/Canadian model RDs they should be
    looking here:

I know Haley personally as she stayed with me when she came over to
attend the UK RD owners club rally. She's a 100% 2-stroke nutter. You'll
find pics of my little RD collection in there too.

<snip more information than I ever need on RD400s>

Ta for that. It just looks odd to me, cos I'm so used to the 'coffin'
shape. To be honest, the tank has a bit of an XS400 look to it, and
thats' not a good thing :)

Disagree there, it's just about every UK RD lover's dream to own a
    Daytona.
