I find these kind of pictures quite depressing insofar as there seem to
be very few younger motorcyclists at these events.

I'm beginning to think that the UKRM demographic maps quite closely to
    the motorcycling community at large.

When I was a lad, I'm sure that older cunts such as myself were very much
in the minority at these sort of events.

  6. If the hair colour is anything to go by some not so old. Not all grey/
white or missing, but perhaps for you, the 'older cunts' , are indeed
younger than those I consider older.

Brian (all white and thinning, but not unfortunately at the waist)

It maps to the Usenet community at large, more like.

Check out the web forums. The SV650 forum in particular is crawling with
    youngsters on 33bhp restricted bikes.

Sorry - I meant "what makes it picture-worthy?".

Heh, I've still got 4 videos ('92-'95) of the May Day run on my shelf
next to me. I need to have a watch sometime, as there will be some
    laughs there for me. :)

Expect a "WTB: SV650" post from Wessie real soon now.

I haven't done it in over a decade now but it used to pretty much go
past my door so I'd pick up the run at Tonbridge. It was quite a good
run - OK, not high-speed hoonery but when you have several thousand
bikes riding down a smallish A road to the seaside there's not much room
    for playing silly buggers.

The bikes take over the entire sea front, parked along the entire length
of the promenade. The scale of the thing is quite impressive. Or was to
    my teenage eyes, anyway.

Of course, having now looked at the photos posted, I see they're all
from the start at Locks Bottom, not the end at Hastings. How fucking
    pointless.
