Report her. Who know how many times she's pulled this stunt before or
what the situation is the next time she does so.

That doesn't count. Only officially approved crashes count around here.

Tell the police, it's fairly likely to get her a bollocking. I got a
bollocking after I totalled my car (without help from anyone else's car) and
got a lift home -apparently what I should have done is rang the police
straight away, so they could come and tut and not breathalyse me (at the
time you had to appear to have been drinking to be breathalysed, and I
hadn't been drinking) - the phone woman got quite irate when I reported the
accident from my house an hour later.

IIRC you only have to report an accident to the police if someone is injured
(or a dog, horse, cow but not a cat or donkey or whatever). If the damage
is only to property, you need to exchange details with anyone having
reasonable cause to ask (ie the owner of a wall you have just demolished).
If the only damage is to your own property, you do not need to report it to
anyone. Which is logical, when you think of it. BICBVW.

Again from my not-too-recent reading of the HC, the boy had "reasonable
cause" to ask for her name and address, insurance details etc. For her not
to supply them is an offence in itself.

  5. Actually, the CB650 was probably the best of all the SOHC Honda fours.

It needed careful maintenance, including regular oil changes and
camchain adjustment, and if that was done, it ran forever. If not, it
rattled its way into oblivion very quickly.

Good chassis. Really good steering. 120mph, decent brakes, decent
    economy, decent comfort. Incredibly underrated.

Oh, and yo had to rejet them because they were set up for Caliornia or
somewhere, with *incredibly* lean fuelling, and accelerator pumps in a
    half-assed attempt to compensate.

    I really, really liked mine.

  6. Yes, good point. Trouble is, we can't do that until we know who she is,
and we haven't got the details yet.

  7. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, platypus
Playing Devil's Advocate, there's only TOG-minor's word that she didn't
give him the details. I don't think a charge would stick.

Having said that, I'd report her anyway.

Davis vs Schrogin 2006. Car pulls out from queue of stationary traffic into
path of filtering motorcyclist. Car driver held to be 100% to blame. She
has no case. However, as there was no significant injury to son or bike
then not worth pursuing her. Nevertheless it should be reported to the
police as a safety measure, in case she decides to try to blame him for the
accident. Having said that, inscos won't GAF who was to blame and neither
    will the police.
