Son's insurance premium quadrupled! (longish)

    Aged 17 and 4 weeks - additional £50 to change to RD400E.

    provisional license. Which was about a weeks wages for an apprentice.

    Obviously the insurance company didn't think she caused the accident.

    They will have seen reports of the incident and decided not to
    contest it but that's not good enough, she still commited fraud in the
    eyes of some of us.

    bikes a few weeks ago let alone remember what I paid for cover a few
    decades ago.

    As I said to Loz neither can I, maybe to the nearest £50 or so. Just that
    1st one that sticks in my mind. Bit like paying £175 for the AS3, £750 for
    the RD250 and £75 for the Ducati 250. The rest just blurr.

    Can't recall the peds but

    17 GT250 £96 until written off
    17 T140V £93
    18 T140V £96

    All FC

    19 T140V £650 so I dropped to TPFT at £450 and then bought my first
    car after about 8 months back down to > £100 for a 2L triumph.

    Well i did cart stuff like this about for years but leading a nomadic
    lifestyle and moving every couple of years one eventually "downsizes" to a
    large rucksack and 4 Tesco bags.
