Recently there was a message posted about making into thousands or something along those lines and using paypal as a way to do it. I personally know that these are chain letters as to this date I still have people sending me the 5 cents to an envelope in the mail and still chuck it out. Well, it's not always myself, it's my father too - anyway getting back on track, my account was hacked or stolen or something whatever you call it these days. Anyhow, I have worked for the last 10 days straight and I got onto the computer this morning and tried logging into my account, and it wouldn't work, I use roboform so you all know, and I have my password saved on that for all my different accounts and soforth. Well, I tried it about 3 times and then thought well maybe I changed it and forgot and so I went to forgot my password and filled it in with my my secret questions, which I would hope absolutely no one would know, but obviously did because my password was changed. So the first half hour of my morning I have been thinking of a password to change it to and decided to change it each week if possible. When I logged in this morning, I had literally hundreds of messages!! from things I have signed up for which I haven't. I had no idea that Google had Google Groups and this is how I found out. I had at least 50 messages regarding to a message I had sent to people saying about legit money with paypal. I thought someone was sending me a message about it and I thought yeh right, and then read it, and it said it was from me and I just couldn't believe it, and then I went to the next one it was all the same. So I copied all the newsgroups that I had supposingly posted through and looked them up on here and then I had hopefully deleted all material regarding to this paypal scam. I will admit I have read the whole thing and then passed on by and disregarded it, because it is a scam, and I do have a paypal account and have had one for a while now and don't use it very often - only when I buy something online usually. So I am just writing to say I am deeply sorry about all this and will hope for forgiveness. Yours Sincerely, Amanda Finley
