I had an inkling that you'd respond with excuses, and nearly posted
something to that effect, but thought "sod it" and went to bed.

The only thing really stopping you getting a bike is you. You'll make
it happen if you really want it. Plan to get one in spring and make it
    happen.

So, what are you going to get?

    heh. No.

I got chatting to this woman, who was very easy on the eye. Her
husband was literally passed out, face down, in the field, so she came
    back to my tent :)[/QUOTE]

    Oh well done Bond

I think the gay seat to be apposite for one who consistently posts in
the style of an overexcited teenage girl.

Teenage suggests the potential to be 19 so you might be better
    describing him as pre-pubescent.

  8. Bastard, you are one up on me. Mind you, I'm not into bike rallies so
that would make it hard. Went to TasRally once but that was to do
sound for the bands playing there, so I wasn't really out with the
    masses.

I was on the committee of Australian Motorcycle Week in 2003. We got a
heap of bikes down from the mainland and toured them for 5 days around
the island, pretty much taking them on the Targa Tasmania routes. By
day 5 I heard one guy proclaim "Haven't you got _any_ straight roads
    here?" <grin>

    Yeah - I'll miss the bike roads there . . .

Glad ya had a good time, I haven't left there for lifestyle choice,
there just ain't enough work there for me anymore.

    Cheers

  9. Umm no, my bank account actually. I can barely afford a beer, let
alone a bike, at the moment. A few months will change that.
Dunno, busa is looking pretty much on the cards. Although, I haven't
ever owned a Kwakka and a ZX14R sounds like it might be worth a test
    ride.

Sort of depends where I end up, too. If the roads in the area are all
little scratch roads I might get something smaller, although I have
always been a horsepower head and happy to haul a heavier bike around
    tighter roads.

  10. Not _very_ buzzy, not as smooth as the 'bird, but I never found the
    engine vibration a worry.

Hardly worth a post though was it? Bloody hell, there are some petty

  12. And take that awful ducktail off, IMHO it makes the bike look short
and squat, without it they look a lot nicer.
