As it has been mentioned before, I thought I'd
post a reminder. The Beeb are showing today's
spacewalk live at 10.15am - it's currently linked
    through the homepage at http://news.bbc.co.uk/

Could be good fun to spot any more pingfuckits.

    I love it..

"Cany you find that switch, and switch it off, then on again"

Nothing like rebooting a space station to start the day off.

heh - yeah, that bit amused me too - its the sort of typical helpdesk
    response too.

well, yes - I really wanted there to be a minor explosion and see an
astronaut go tumbling off, still alive, down into the atmosphere[1].

There's still time for the alien to show up.

    entertainment.

    We need something like:

Spaceman1 : "Coming back now, open the airlock"

Spaceman2: (Pretends to press button) "I've press the release button".

    Spaceman1: "Its not opening".

Spaceman2: (Still not pressing button) "Well, I've definitely pressed
it. It must be broken, I'll run a diagnostic (Puts Kettle on and Feet
    up).

    etc,etc.

How about an astronaut surfing through the upper atmosphere on a broken hatch?

The link doesn't lead to a map, just a forum?

Happy to get a translation but I can't keep a woman's interest up in
space issues. She's gone off in a huff saying that it's something about
ovals and space but they're not saying anything interesting and she's
    bored of reading it.

The map referred to is the one shown in the NASA command centre. The one
that is shown on NASA TV. They've got 5 or 6 yellow circles over Russia and
around that part ... just wondered ...
How long did that take for her to get bored? Can't blame her though ....
