Does anyone know if they are allowed/banned on trackdays?
I have heard differing opinions and there was no mention on the paperwork
    from no-limits

If they are not allowed does anyone who is going have a spare set of non
sparky ones I could borrow for the day

Banned on all trackdays at all tracks for safety reasons.

I thought it was to prevent damage to the track surface.

  9. On a similar theme, the last trackday I went on (admittedly a few years
ago), we were told it would be a good idea to tape up/remove mirrors and
ditto for lights - although it wasn't mandatory. Any of this enforced
these days - or is it simply turn up and ride it as is?

I'm not sure I want to put any tape on the RD, although it may help hold
the thing together, if might come apart when I take the tape off...

Well, considering I have a highly tuned race bike in the garage, I
unfortunately have a severely detuned and dead vehicle that is
incapable of dragging it to Leicester.

    Left with options of

    1) Buying a new car
    2) Running around like a mad twat trying to fix and get the truck MOT'd
    in time

I decided to take the 12R.

I shall be riding gingerly as a ginge thing on the day .. ;)
