here's one for TOG: http://tinyurl.com/5fmvef (Z750)
Hmmmm.... I've recently won another Honda 400 Four: this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=23027700573 Collecting it on Monday as I'm still in France[1]. Got a snipe lined up for this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290249837645 as (if you read the description) he's got problems with the carbs and the camchain after fiddling with it, and I know *exactly* what he's done wrong. Trouble is, so will loads of other 400 Four Fiends, so I don't expect to win it. So I haven't really got the room a Z750 as well.... If I win both of these, I can make up one lovely 400 from the pair, and the parts left over will effectively pay for it. We shall see. [1] Did our last flight of the week this morning. We've managed six flights in five days, which is pretty good. One day got knocked out by storms. I flew once, The Doctor once and daughter Helen (hereinafter referred to as The Sorcerer's Apprentice) twice. Next year is the biannual Metz balloon meet, and we're up for that. I haven't done Metz for about 10 years, so am looking forward to it already. Not as big as Albuquerque, but they still get 400+ balloons there. Plan atm is to camp at a really, really nice riverside campsite a few miles from the airfield. Females are being delegated to drive a car filled with luxurious camping kit while Niall and I will take our bikes, because the roads in Alsace-Lorraine are superb.
What about this .. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1981-Classic-Benelli-Motorcycle_W0QQitemZ330260942282 -- Steve Parry BMW R80RS, BMW R45, 01 Kawasaki ZX12-R, 07 K1200GT SE 95 BMW F650, 87 Yamaha FS1, Sukida SK90PY, 91 Kawasaki AR50, 07 VW Passat SE Estate for comfort www.gwynfryn.co.uk
I think he's been trying to dispose of that for ages. Waiting for the boat back from Calais today were two Italians: one of a V35 Imola (same as our V50 Monza) and the other on a late (1975) Motobi 650 S2: a rebadged Benelli 650 Tornado. It was *gorgeous*. original, 12k kilometres from new and unmarked, in two-tone blue and white. Just a nice patina on it. Rescued from somebody's loft or something. It sounded as good as it looked too. I positively drooled.
