  1. I may have found the slight flaw in the "Africa Single" plan.

    70 miles to reserve. =8^O

I think Plan 'B' may need some attention.

Isn't yours one of the early ones that had a spare plug all ready for
action because it'd need it at some point over a 50 mile ride?

    Frankfurt Rules apply.

    Exceptions:

If you have an MZ ES Trophy and your name is Simon you're allowed a 250.
If you're fat. (over 17 stone).
If you have a Superdream (you needn't be fat, the bike's overweight)
It's patently unsuitable but won't impinge on others progress. A 70 mile
    range obviously will.
Final adjudication goes to previous Frankfurt veterans.

My old 185 wouldn't go from Gillingham to Margate and back on a
    tankful.
Baffle pipe could probably do with a clean.

Also, look along those welds on the exhaust S-bend, there may be a
    hole.

It's not that bad really, but I'll have a look-see. It runs well at
full-throttle, but it's a bit ragged with it part open.

I've got an acceptable workaround for the problem. <G>

    <daft idea mode>

Well, you've got three tanks for it, so a with little bit of bracketry
and plumbing you'll have a real continental tourer.
