Speed camera loophole

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Mr X, Mar 1, 2006.

  1. **** me - you couldn't make it up - you appear to be getting thicker
    by every post you make:

"The Isle of Man has the unusual status of being one of the British
Isles that is neither part of Great Britain nor the United Kingdom. "

Just think what will happen to the roads if the Island became part of
the UK - solid white lines & speed cameras everywhere. I think it's
    best left alone.

The difference between me and you is I don't really give a **** what you
think. I don't care if we do have speed limits, I ignore them anyway. I
couldn't give a **** what legislation is put in place, there's always a
way round it or somewhere you can ignore it. In town I behave, but out
of town it's my road and nooone's going to tell me how fast I am allowed
to go. I use the MK1 eyeball to keep my licence clean and have fun while
    doing so.

I don't get all worked up about silly little things like speeding
legislation. You 4-wheeled types do get upset by the silliest things,
    maybe it's jealousy.

    Roads closed for competition?

    Or emergency services?

Or something I haven't thought of?
    That doesn't surprise me.

  5. I am not a "4-wheeled type" - but as I said earlier *you* are
definitely a wanker as each successive post re-enforces. I cannot see
anything for me to be jealous of - can you expand on that please?

Maybe, but I'm not Italian. If you'd like to meet me somewhere then we
could discuss it further, or are you too chickenshit?

I'll be at the Black Horse Inn at Hulland Ward in Derbyshire over the
weekend of 8th and 9th April, if you'd like to come and call me a loser
to my face. Put up, or shut up, arsewipe.

    Yeah. Don't see why not.

I'm sick of these unknown arseholes who waltz in here using anonymous
email addresses and gop straight in insulting people. hiding behind an
anonymous email addy is the internet equivalent of hiding behind mummy's
skirts. If they aren't prepared to say it someone's face, then don't say
    it here.

  16. While I'd agree that saying "I did over 120mph on the A9" is ambiguous
as both the uk and de versions are quite suitable for such speeds saying
"I did over 170mph on the A7" is not since it's almost impossible to
exceed 150mph on the uk version. :)
