i'm getting sick of all these hey look who fell off threads lately, but
i guess i'd better mention that i went asphalt surfing on the 29th and had
an aftermarket R collarbone put in on friday ... waa! Haven't seen the
bike yet! Coppper reckons road (near johanna) is fucked (technical
    term).

    Ouch!
Red or Blue? The more western road to Johanna *is* a bit rugged. I
remember going through there in the Audi and thinking "Glad I'm not on
the bike!" (you know what a wimp I am on dirt.)

Hope the pain is fading, and the bike is OK.

Oooh, I don't like the sound of that. Didn't you know that it's only
considered appropriate to break a collarbone if you're on your way to
    the off-centre rally?

So did you get someone to retrieve your bike, or did you instruct them
to burn it where it was? ;-)

Seriously, hope it heals quickly for you.

And Ken's concerned face about how he'd hustle the arh-see into the van
before you got back to pit lane.
