    Oh crap....

Hope you're back on again soon sharks. Hopefully the aftermarket collarbone
wll be an improvement on the breakable original and you'll be riding again
really really soon. Must be the shittiest feeling in the world, having to
    stay off bikes.

thanks betty and everyone else, hopefully it'll mend, bugger of a thing
at the moment though and i'll be off for a while. typing onehand is
annoying, trying to find some way to use a chording keyboard but
frustrating since it'd be a lot easioer to set up if i wasn't already
    injured!

Errm appreciate the support Smee, but strictly speaking that's a non
sequitur. It would make sense if I was female and had just had a baby
(pregnancy hormones do wonderful things to the mind as I'm sure you're
well aware), however it's not going to impact *my* rationality surely ?
I'd rather he didn't if he didn't mean it...and why would he given he
only knows me as someone who treats his opinions with contempt.
Well now you're asking a bit much ! It's gotta be hard to change the
    habits of a lifetime.
Indeed, and where the hell IS scrok anyway ?
I don't think he's wanting to participate in a group hug mate...

  13. Don't tell me - you were taking a leisurely Sunday (or in this case Friday)
ride and took a shortcut because it would only take a lettle while and it's
a really good road with some great bends.

Rhonda whas a) supportive once she'd got over the shock, b) threatening all
kinds of bloody hell on you after she'd got over the shock c) threatening
all kinds of bloody hell on all the bikes after she'd got over the shock

Hope they let you keep the morphine

    morning vickers!
a! She's had an awful lot to put up with but we're doimg our best ...
the GS is a write-off but when i get healthy enough to start tinkering
again there's heaps of xlv bits to play with and not much risk of
    actually getting the thing running :-}

Charlotte is starting teething, the wee terror!
"There's no need to be nervous about the surgery", they said, "this is
the recovery room!" ... slowly weaning myself off endone and onto
    tramadol ...
Volvo more likely! You want the CX?

  16. No that's toilet training - as much dribbly fluid, just from the other end
Phah! Tramadol!! Get some real drugs (I have a personal preference against
it, but then I normally use it for a different set of pain patients. I'll
admit it tends to work for surgical pain, but don't take it if you're on
SSRIs)....or a good looking physio will do a similar job taking your mind
    off the pain.
I'm not ready to start my modern sculpture section of the "Landscape the New
Home" project, so I think I'll pass. Thanks anyway. Last CX I had had a
tendency to fall over, and it was too heavy for me to pick up by myself.V
    embarrassing.

No, you consistently say really stupid shit, and people pick holes in
your arguments which you're too dim to comprehend. Then like a good
idiot savant, once in a blue moon (I only recall one instance) you say
something vaguely sensible to which reasonably fair minded people go -
"yeah alright" which then bolsters you into thinking all your other
    inanities are sensible.

it seems to work pretty well, its still painful but just not annoying.
The endone knocks me on my arse, so i try not to take too many. Physio
tomorrow, finally get to move this arm and see if it falls off :)
