I blame alcohol, the alcohol I've already consumed and the alcohol I'm
about to drink courtesy of my wonderful employer telling me to take
Adie out for a meal at their expense.

This meal is their way of showing their gratitude for the vast amount
of money I made for them this summer at varying power stations across
the UK. I wasn't overly impressed until they told me I was also
getting a nice 16% pay rise starting 1st October.

Did I forget to mention that next April my job changes again and I'll
suddenly be getting a profit related bonus, profit related pay rise
rather than inflation based, even more power to abuse and a selection
of other minor perks to be negotiated.

It looks like they've talked me out of leaving for a while.
