I find the only way to watch yank stuff is to completely immerse myself
in it, lest I come up for air and realise it's a load of old wank.

So I did exactly that with TWW. 7 seasons, 24 episodes per season, 40
minutes per ep. One on the way to work, one on the way home, one or two
before bed. By the end of it I was practically ready to vote for
Clinton^WSantos^WObama^WRob Lowe^Wwhatever.

It was good, but tailed off after the first four seasons.

Mid-term wobble. There was a definite recovery in the penultimate series
and I quite enjoyed the final one.

 

That'll be because it junked the shark-jumping angle of el pres having
MS and had a new messiah to hang on to.

It's the best US drama I've watched, though I'm not sure whether that's
saying a lot or simply damnation by faint praise.
