Sport Riders wear Lids

Discussion in 'Texas Bikers' started by ßjay jøhñ§øñ, Nov 19, 2004.

  1. just thought, one thing about those crotch rocket youngsters, by golly,
they have a nuff cents to wear a helmet...never seen one riding without.
I guess it's because of their one-wheel-stunts. Damn, their good.
It's exciting to see and hear em, rib em up, ready to lift that front
    end....damn their good!

    "X-No-archive: yes"
Yep. Nothing like rolling on the throttle, when coming out of a curve
(or off an entrance ramp), and feeling the front get light while the
bike still tracks properly. Oddest sensation the first time it
    happened to me.

LOL... "tweener".. whoo.. hooo... I like it..
It's those naps you take while you are leaning over that tank, Superfly..
That's what causes that.. Damn.. son.. you need to get some rest before you
take off on that thing.. don'cha know.. whew.. never seen such a tired dude
    in my life...

Of course you meant to say "buffoons"? "bafoons" would make yourself
look like an ignorant redneck "buffoon".

    Just a suggestion.
Apparently not. I don't recall seeing riders doing things like that in
my area. So the perception here would be that you're able to view this
    activity somewhere...hmm?
    Wow! Really provocative there.

Any more wisdom from you, or I should say can we expect SOME glint of
    wisdom from you anytime soon?

    No?

  7. BRIAN, are you scolding fullstate below...appears you are badmouthing
fullstate below, he's one of the good guys.
I might have the paragraphs mixed up, but when I read this, it looks
like you were. If I'm off alittle, I polo-gize!!!!!

**Well, I would certainly say you are more likely to see sportbike
riders wearing gear they also seem to be the ones that are acting like
    morons on the highway.
On the other hand you have a huge cruiser segment that doesn't wear gear
at all but they are usually pretty tame with the exception of hitting
    the bars while riding.
I see squids without lids on all the time. My favorite is the ones that
have the helmet locked on the helmet holders and they have NOTHING on
but shorts, sneakers, and a 1/2 shirt.

    Me and Mah 'Priller!
It also seems that the ones that have the helmets on the locks are also
    the ones acting like bafoons,

changing lanes like the cars are moving traffic cones in a slalom
course. I can't recall seeing a fully-geared up sport bike rider doing
stuff like that...ever. Maybe the riders in my area just have more sense
    than that?

Like I've always said, bad riders eliminate themselves eventually. Even
    good ones get eliminated though.
