I thought they have banned it but there seems to be a fair amount or
recent stuff on youtube and the like, so discretion will be in order,
the bar mount fits on the lh grip tight against the switch, fit the
mount and slip the camera on just past the barrier, that's the plan
    anyway.

Only problem with those is if it rains, the square hole in the front fills
with water and blurs the picture and unless you have a laptop or PDA with
you ,you can't see what you have filmed until you get back homeand then it
    could be crap.

Spent a whole day(150 miles on and off road) when I first got it only to
have the lens hole full of mud and no visible video albeit blurred (didn't
    check it, didn't realise).

Did 2 days in wales on the DRZ and solution was to cut a square out of a
clear coke bottle (2ltr) and cable tie it over the lens hole so it bows.
Doesn't effect the picture but makes a dirrence if it rains.
Maybe worth putting a bit of rainX or the like on it.

Apart from that, good cheap toy. ($99 from USA)

I did find when I put it on the Gixxer1000, over 80 mph the sound stopped.

Oh, and take a few batteries, the higher the resolution and using sound can
use batteries and always check it is recording, a few times on some good
lanes I thought it was recording when it wasn't.

Good advice, thanks. I did wonder about crap getting in the little
square hole. I'll think carefully about using it at the 'ring, the
consequenses do sound a bit serious and it would be a shame to spoil
    the weekend.

Have you tried an SD card bigger than 2 gig?

    Unfortunately, I haven't.

Mostly because big SD cards were a lot more expensive last spring than
they are this year, so I didn't have anything bigger kicking around the
    house.

It will likely not work, because >2GB cards are SDHC, which isn't usable
by plain (read "old") SD gear.
