It's been said she can snap a man in half with a twitch of her thighs
and that one look could either melt or freeze a man to his core, others
say she's the most unsuccessful kitchen knife juggler of all time, but
all we really know is that she is...The Snowleopard[/QUOTE]

    Laura: "That looks quite nice."
Moi: "Well, yeah, but it's an Alfa 75."
    L: "So?"
    M: "SteveH has one."
    L: "Ah."

I chuckled at the Alfa challenge too, my older brother used to have two
of them, one to run, and one for spares. He needed it too.

Oh, come on. You, Statto, Scraggy, Bonwick, Packer et al - what do I need
to ask her that I can't work out for myself?

Why list all those when one - Parry - would have done[1]. He's Welsh
and has at least one K...say no more.

    [1]Apols to Steve P, he's ok really.

You're saying he's as big a **** as that lot put together? Fucking
impressed. As for multiple ownership, doesn't Burnt have the National
    Collection?

Burnt is the keeper of the unofficial BMW K series museum.

There's no hope for some people. I think I'd rather have an RD
addiction, they take up less room.

You really are starting to talk yourself back into it, aren't you?

I think at some point in my future there lies another RD400 - I can't
stop at 29, I have to hit the round figure of 30.

To put this in some context, my current collection is:

    - K75 (commuter year round)
    - K1100 (commuter, summer)
    - K100 (Sidecar)
    - K100RS (Bought with sidecar, for bits, notably leading link forks)

    And non-BMW
    - Z500 (Sidecar)
    - ZXR750H1
    - 5TA

I have owned about three other K100s; so not at all dangerous in terms
    of compulsive behaviour.

  19. Insurance, no (multi-bike policies). Tax, MoT, SORN - oh yes....

It's not difficult at all. The reminder comes in the post, sit at
computer declare SORN or pay for tax. If it won't let you tax it you can
safely assume you haven't got an MOT, go to the testing station with
appropriate bike, get MOT. Job done.
