Nice bimble around the mendips on the GS500.
    That is all.

  2. Lovely day. So I cut the grass and stayed indoors watching the footie.

I fitted shiny new rearsets to my 10R in preparation for a summer of
madness if I manage to get any time off work. I even managed to fit
the banjo bolt pressure switch without getting any air into the system
so I was quite pleased with myself.

Now all I need to do is get the borrowed rearsets back to Champ so he
can flog them along with the rest of the broken bits off his race 10R.
They're quite possibly the only parts of it to have actually done a
lap of the Island so they've got a bit of history.

I went out and shovelled snow from the drive in a balmy high temperature
of -8C! Expecting another overnight low -25 or so! Being 5 degrees further
south than the UK and experiencing these kind of temperatures really brought
home to me the effect that the Gulf Stream has on your climate.

They might be one of the components that find their way on to my road
    bike, actually.

Maybe a visit to WUN on the way then because the right hand footrest
is rather heavily chamfered from one of the bikes previous slides
    along the tarmac.

Oi WUN, do you want him in your debt for a job that'll take under an
    hour?

Will do. I'm sure he'll appreciate your efforts even though he'll
    resent the cost.
