Picked the beast up this morning, and tonked it home up the M4.

    Initial observations:
    It's black.
It's fucking quick compared to what I am used to.
    It doesn't wobble.
The power delivery seems very linear, i.e. it pulls like a train,
rather than the power coming in with a surge.
It's comfortable, despite the riding position being a little more
sprotsbike like than I thought it would be.
It's got a baglux tank cover.

    Bad bits:
It's got a Datatool alarm fitted, dunno how long that'll last.
The fairing panels need Beavi-ing up at some stage.

All in all I are really very pleased, seems I got a bargain.

    Bad pics here:

    Suits you sir.

God, don't talk to me about alarms. When I went to check out my new toy
earlier today it was a comedy of errors with alarms and batteries.
Hateful things - I haven't had an alarm on a bike in 15 years and I
ripped that one out because it kept going off every time the wind blew.

So did the bloke who's buying my SV. Still, I'd already got a trade-in
lined up so it's all money in the bank (sort of).

I'll expect you out for a FOT in a couple of weeks.

I think you could be right there.
This fucking thing self arms every 30 seconds, and I also have a little
pger thing which (when it's got batteries in) will ping me if the alarm
activates. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Indeed, would be rude not to.
