Squealing brakes

    Mea culpa. I thought that "I was a rear brake user" was an indication.

    Greasing or replacing the pins on which the pads move makes
    excellent sense. I'm in California and I've found these pins badly
    worn before. Lots of abrasive flying at them if you ride all year.
    Around here, Caltrans throws sand not gravel.
