Step-Father down ..

    3 am christmas day ...

    Mum isn't coping well.

    Nice old bloke, had a smashed leg from a bike accident (Triumph
    Bonneville) in 1973, and been wheelchair bound for a couple of years,
    but in the last fortnight suffered three heart attacks.

    He was in a lot of pain and 'they' think he would never have recovered
    fully so it was a release when he passed away ... I shall miss him and
    drink fondly for him. He looked after mum when someone had to, couldn't
    ask for more really.

    I'll also be drinking a toast to the doctors and especially the nurses
    at DRI (Doncaster Royal Infirmary), they tried.
