The only plus point is that if plod have one of the crims already then
you might get a name and address eventually.

  4. My bike seems to be OK. AJ's was found at one of the fucktard's houses.
Thus we have names and addresses. Both bikes were taken for forensics.
Don't see why as they have three perps in custody; seems one was a bit
rowdy and got maced. Now we have to get the bikes back to the house
before the plod charge us for storage.

Shitty news, but I see elsewhere that both were recovered later in the
    night.

Go **** 'em up good and proper.

Ground up glass in their tea.......always good for a piss head junkie and
    the like.

The plod would think they are bleeding internally from drugs abuse or
    summat.

Mind ewe........A lump 4X2 is more fun....

Arse, but sounds like a lucky escape nevertheless.

  8. Good, good....
    Indeed.

Doesn't sound like they were criminal masterminds.

Get your Solicitor on the case - NOW.
Plod are required to charge storage at a reasonable rate plus recovery
    charge of £100 plus VAT.
    It's in the small print of T & C 's somewhere.

Your solicitor can get the money back for you.

Mental Anguish can be worth £50K (allegedly)

    It all helps.

To prove the theft as opposed to handling (depending where the trace
is found), and also gets rid of the "I just walked in the house and
didn't know it was there" defence. Prints and DNA will tie the
buggers down. Without them the slimey defence lawyers will use the
lack of taking them to try to claim their little angels are being
    stitched up.

You shouldn't be charged for storage if the vehicle's at the nick. Not
something the Police do. The recovery firm will, however, charge a set
recovery fee (£105 IIRC). If it's been recovered to the agent's
pound, then there is a fee of about £12 per day. This will be paid
direct by the Insco. When my bike was nicked/recovered a couple of
years ago, the Insco were a bit slow contacting the recovery firm, but
all the fees were paid by them, so no problem.

All the fees can be found somewhere on the ACPO website, but I can't
be bothered hunting them down at the mo.

Yeah two bloody good Abus locks. Sam's bike was only 100 yards away mine
in Corby. Sam's is fine just a bit of slght damage to the ignition
barrel mine has a scuffed end can, two busted mirrors and a bust front
break lever. Now off to get new locks. Oh to add insult to injury the
realese fee is £105 each even for the bike that was only across the
road! They did get the three cunts that did it mind you

Presumably you can whip up a nice small-claim summons for the replacement
locks, repairs/insurance loading and serve it to the cunts.

ICBW, but I thought I read somewhere last week that you now for the first
time have the right to be informed when and where the court case is taking
place. Get someone to turn up and give them the summons in a blank envelope.
    Hey presto, served :)

Wouldn't your legal insurance cover this? Either Bike or Household?

Hmm I;m starting to realise that the ALMAX chain isn't as overpriced as
it seems. How did they break them do you know? angle grinder I suppose!
Glad to hear your bikes are recovered and ain't completely trashed all
    the same.

I got a nice discount at the London show in January. Anyway it's not
like you're getting a new one each month is it.

    I'll turn up.

I'll turn up on a bike in me leathers (even of I have to change out of
the very sensible HG plastic gear first round the corner first) and I'll
sit in the public gallery and I'll bring my big obvious pro camera and
I'll fucking use it and I'll publish under my own name.

    I'll send messages.
