Easier to push a fat bird through a truck tyre with a fucking fishing rod.

Used the hair dryer & everything, but loads of air pockets, they feel
    fucking great though.

I'm not sure, but I'm still chuckling over it. That may be Stowells'
    fault though.

You're a right one for the odd phrase you are Nige.
You've no fucking idea have you?

First thing you do is warm the buggers up until they're soft and pliable.
You do this by soaking the things in HOT water with added soap. You then
wash the tank with soapy water, don't rinse and then apply the tank grips.

Starting in the centre, you squeegy the air bubbles out by forcing them to
the edges of the pads and you're done.

    Not a clue Kev.
I followed the instructions & it didn't say that. I know about applying the
sheet type things & decals that way, but these are quite thick & knobbly.
You can't squeegy them, they are knobbly, but i reckon they'll do. I got the
tank nice & hot with a hair dryer & also gave them a good blast with it.

    Fancy a ride today?

    Jag vet det.
    I know.
Defeatist. Of course you can squeegy a knobbly pad, you just use a squeegy
that's slightly less rigid than the pad. A chunk of 3 or 6mm rubber is
    perfect.
    Sorted then.
Having been nowhere near the puter until just now, 'tis a likkle late and
I'm aboug to strap on me nosebag. And having been playing piano at a pal's
birthday part 'til quarter past 3 this morning has left me feeling a tad
    fucked. So not today :)
