Used to be able to see various unsavoury types lining up at 3am after
a late sitting.

I've told the story before but I asked fora pie floater at Gympie once and
the girl looked at me like I was wierd. Then I described it and the look
changed to "wierd-and-sick".
She averred that the shop wouldn't sell ANYTHING like that until I pointed
out that it was there on the menu above her head!

Obviously not a big seller in Gun-town

Seeing Stoner win it this year was great after the heartbreaking second
place last year, but how about Vermeulen?? He was right on the pace and
set the fastest lap after being taken out in the first lap, on a damaged
bike. Ended up just one place behind Rossi. If it hadn't been for the
crash, who knows where he may have finished.

 

He set the fastest lap and I read that apart from the first and last laps he
never dropped below .6sec off that pace! (on a crashed bike!)
What a friggin' shame.

 

Does it still count as 'crashed' if it never touched the ground.
