Stooge required

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Baron Von Rotter, May 20, 2004.

  1. I need a stooge to test out a 2 piece suit. The said stooge should
preferrably fit a size 52 jacket and pants, be around 180cm tall and
    about 75-85 kg.

Said stooge should be able to provide legible and intelligable feedback
on the performance, comfort and general reaction to the sui, including
its durability. Said stooge should be a regular rider - a commuter would
be best since the test period should be at least 2500km.

Any potential stooges that meet the above requirements and want to have
a free suit for a while please email the rotter -

  2. GAWD - after trying on the pants and the jacket. I have realised that
this potential manufacturer is a baboon. Three different designs and
cuts all at size 52, the suit I wanted to test fitted the legs really
well, but the jacket is too small. Maybe I just too huge .

Im around 72kg and 178cm tall. So if your around 178cm tall and skinny,
maybe its better for you. Eitherway, I still need a suit tester.

    I'm 180cm / 82kg, and I'm now commuting about 900km per week. If you
get a test suit for proper-sized people I'll give it a go. ;-)

YR! (tm) - the bloody 60cc / 50cc would be battling to do 90 klm each
    way~
With a head(s) like that..... not surprised ;)

I'm picking up the CT90 from the mechanic today, he claims it's
running sweetly. Dad reckoned I was a mug spending $300 to get it
roadworthy, since that's 50% of what he paid for it in 1972. ;-)

I'll be getting it registered next week. I'm expecting a bit of a
runaround at the motor registry, since this it's a 32-year-old bike
and this is the first time it's ever been registered.

And yes, it'll be doing the 90km commute each way for at least a few
days, to make me more comfortable about its longevity. Now I just
have to name the poor little thing...

    Yeah but it's gonna' make ride reports pretty hard reading;
"...BT finally arrived after riding Pat hard all day......"
"..BT lubed Pat and fitted new rubber....."
"...BT turned Pat on and then kicked him..." (Actually that last one
    sounds ok)

You should be able to get it registered as a 2004 model if it's never been
registered before. Should appreciate the value quite a bit :)
