  2. Like I've just explained to The Greatest Fuckwit, it's an anniversary edition bike that would not be available when I became fully licensed.

Just an excuse to charge lots more money for a shitbox!

Have you test ridden it to see if it is what you think it is?? didnt
    think so either LMAO!

This will be fun for months!

As Harley's don't make much in the way of HP stock they are considered entirely
    suitable learner bikes

    JL
(do they still offer an optional kick starter - I'd love to see a learner trying
    to kickstart a 1450 twin :)

Yeah I knew the 883s were learner-legal but I'm surprised something as big, heavy and powerful as a Fat Boy
    is.
(Mind you; we used to think that the Z1 was an awesome tyre-shredding machine but it'd probably be
learner-legal now too if ya did the maths....
I wonder about the H1 and H2 triples....)

Oh, I thought it was a common colloquialism, my apologies - it means
    cocksucker

Well, let me put it this way -
A shoeshine is a person who shines your shoes for you...

  12. } If it's in an area that's hard on bikes - near the sea, or really damp -
} then you might want to do more.
    }
} Furniture wax paste all over any alloy. has to be paste, the aerosols
    } are useless for this.

Hm. Last year I used S100 Corrosion Protector spray on one of my
bikes, and it worked quite allright. Over a couple of weeks the
solvents evaporate, and it turns into a coating somewhere between a
    wax and a lacquer.

} Fill the tank to the very top with petrol. Be prepared to discard this
} when you are ready to use the bike again, it will be crap.

Diesel or kero is worthwhile when you have a way to use it up
afterwards, for instance in a neighbour's truck or van, or a parts
washer. It evaporates less, and few diesel engines care even a little
bit about 5 liters of 'stale' fuel on a tankfull at a time. Or just
keep it around for next year.

  13. So seeing as I'm a puter tech I'd have a glossy Microscope disk then eh?
Maybe a shiny phillips head screwdriver?

Like I keep saying, the result of the request for removal of restrictions
had nothing to do with the decision to buy the bike. On top of that, $32K
is not a lot of money for me. At work, I make multi-million dollar
decisions all the time, and $32K is a whisker over a months take home, so
it's not a big decision. It's gonna cost me around $1K to warehouse it, so
I'll work an extra three or four hours to make up for it, big fucken deal.

For your information, the whole SHB thing is an analogy typically used to
point out ones gullibility, and I don't believe I've shown any, hence my
incredulity at your consistent use of said analogy.

Or, you still don't fucken get it, do you toolshine?

These are my last words on the matter, even if you do go ask the trailer
park caretaker for something intelligent to say. He's let you down so far.

Well, maybe if I called you a 'putershine, I'd expect you to shine peoples
    'puters
And maybe if I called you a phillips-head-screwdriver-shine, i'd expect you
to shine peoples phillips head screwdrivers.

And since I called him a toolshine, it means I'm saying he "shines peoples
tools". Do I have to spell it out? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. : )

I meant the furniture poish aerosols.

It's possilble lanoguard or similar sprays won't work. WD40 doesn't...

    Hmm.. never thought of that.

As long as you swill the tank out with petrol :)

We had a bloke in our class called (poor guy) Quentin Waldron, who had
to do a proof on the blackboard. At the end he put QWD ... Quentin
Waldron Dunnit! Teacher was not amused ...
They swung a compulsory question on the torsion pendulum (one that spins
    - think of those 7-day clocks under glass) in a physics paper I sat. Had
to try and work it out from first principles. Not happy!

    Cheers
