This started years ago after I decided that I had had enough of charter warriors, controll freaks, spell checkers, netKKK, kiddy fiddlers and Usenet Idiots (Equivalent to the Village Idiot), uk.local.birmingham was by far the biggest offender. When I started these uk groups were very active. Now those guardians of the usenet lamp have emptied the ng of most of the sensible posters whilst trolls like myself have filled the groups with utter shite! The great Charter Warriors have either fled or turned trolls themselves! Gamekeepers turned poachers, The Royal and Ancient Society of Trolls Hobgoblins Kelpies and things that go Bump in the night do not accept them into full fellowship. We have standards. Posters using the names mentioned above and another one using the name Burkes Bollox or something like that were going to get rid of us trolls. Never happened! Where are those gallant fearsome warriors now? I rarely see them. Even their arse lickers have gone. And boy they were the sad ones. Some like yorkshire started a moderated group (total disaster!), one wee wifie started a secret group membership by invitation only!!! Some troll neutralizing units are still in existence, totally ineffective. Here is a current list of those getting my attention: uk.local.east-anglia uk.local.cumbria uk.local.isle-of-wight uk.local.southwest uk.local.essx uk.local.hampshire All of them went down the road of reporting for crossposting and boasted in the ng about it!! They wanted to keep things Royston-Vassey! Total tubes. (It seemed to me that by doing this they attracted some very strange people!) Thrown of one ISP join another. I sometimes leave before I am asked, I go back latter. Troll hunters give me a meaning in usenet life. They give me the incentive to continue my work as a Troll and I enjoy twisting the tails of the pompous. I get such a buzz. I have to sit here at this PC sometimes for long periods without anything arriving so uk.local. pompous twats are a nice diversion.
