Well it is tough to explain - however I herad one yesterday
afternoon, looked up and there was a Morini 3 1/2 - it
said on the sidepanel, going past, 'bout 4:30pm Monday
    20 July.

    One of you lot?

A215, Elephant, Camberwell, Herne hill - heading South.

    Looked good anyway, sounded great.

Strange noise last night from 1am to 3am, scared the crap out of L and
stopped every time I went outside to investigate. Sounded like somebody
hitting a big piece of wood with a big hammer but was too consistent in
sound to be a man wiv an ammer, seemed to be coming vaguely from next
doors back garden. Sound stopped completely at 3 and was followed by
    cars driving off.

    Still baffled, and tired.

Is your car there this morning, or is it up on bricks ?

  5. I saw an old S reg (original era) Ducati 900 (S?) up at Lydiard Park at
    the weekend. Mostly immaculate.

I didn't hear it run but I would imagine it would sound quite nice
(once passed the cold 'bagful of nut and bolts' stage).

I'm still suffering culture shock between the Honda and the Ducati. Came
in on the the CBR this morning and it felt very strange. Engine just
started, none of the blub blub kechung kechung followed by the bagful of
nuts and bolts for the next couple of minutes of the ST4s.

No wonder Ducatis are an acquired taste, how on earth DO you tell if the
engine is a good tight one or a knackered bag of nails ?

Amazingly after introducing ourselves to the neighbours it turns out
that their rabbit hutch was backed up to our fence, so when the rabbit
kicked the hutch it also hit the fence.

    Woke them up as well.
