is this still a spray can sort of paint?

another question - how do I remove the (slightly) embossed "Kawasaki"
stickers from the tank, the tank protector and the decals from the
seat unit (though ultimately, if I go through with this, I'll ditch
the standard seat for a smaller one)

Yes. You can get pretty good results with spray tins *if* you
prepare it carefully and take your time.
Those will be under the clear lacquer but over the paint. You
would need to sand them with a fine paper until they lift off.
Should just peel off, then clean off the residue with brake cleaner.
These may just peel off or they may be under the lacquer, as
    per the tank.

I got a reasonable finish on the Morini hillclimber 'Puch' tank with
a spray can, but beware that though touch dry very quickly the finish
is not petrol resistant for quite a while longer. DAMHIKIJDOK.

For small components the brush applied smoothrite gives surprisingly
    good results.

For home arc-welded frame modifications/strengthening there is no
subsitute for the original wrinkly Hammerite silver. To quote a Brands
scrutineer on seeing the Rotarini, "Hammerite, the paint that hides a
    multitude of sins."

as Clink he had a fan in Spain.
Can it be the entire collection since 2003?

I'll ask, but don't hold your breath...
I've just given away about 7 year's worth. Sorry.

No harder than changing a set of brake pads, IWHT, if you know what
you're doing. I suspect the hardest part (if I was doing it) would be
getting the paint smooth and finding the time (and patience) to do it.

The thing I've noticed when taking the fairings off faired bikes is
that wires are all over the place. Naked bikes have them nicely
hidden generally, so I've always thought one of the biggest problems
with building a 'fighter is what to do with all the looms.

  13. Never had that problem with my CBR although I'd be tempted to buy some
of that stainless wire tidy wraparound stuff that looks a bit like a
shower hose if the wiring couldn't easily be hidden on the inside edge
of the frame. If it really was an issue I'd guess go and have a look at
a naked bike with equivalent frame and have a look at how they did it
there but personally I wouldn't bother.

The stickers may be the type that come off with heat. But you need to be
    careful.

    Don't be silly.

Enough heat will fetch *any* sticker off, no trouble.

Many years ago I did some "spannering" for Phase One in Bridgewater. I
was quite happily engrossed in peeling off sponsor stickers from some
bodywork which was balanced on my knee. All was fine until a bit of
inattention when I directed the heat gun through an air vent. I can
confirm that 350c is quite warm, even toasty.

No.1 son builds wiring harnesses for military stuff. They use quite a
bit of nylon tube sheathed with stainless steel braiding (looks like
braided brake hose). I have a sizeable stash of 3mm and 10mm inside
diameter tube "offcuts" (upto about 3m long).

    How much do you want?
