anyone taken the legs apart on white power usd's
I have a set to make a new axle clamp for, I am hoping to
get it done tomorrow or boxing day.
I can't see any grub screw locking the axle clamp to the bottom of
the fork leg, I have given them a twist and could shift the
tube, could just be loctited in? I have seen plenty of rechomed
    gsxr legs just loctited in.

someone here will have the knowledge, won't you..

That's right - tomorrow _is_ Boxing Day.
So you gave it a twist and you could shift the tube? Well there you
are then, give it a bigger twist and away you go.
    Haven't we all, mate.
    Of course.

    Pip
    It should of said Couldn't
I always replace the grub screw when i
    put new legs in.

I have had the bloke on the phone, just woke me the
git, he wants the forks back by the weekend.
I am going to heat the bottom and try and unscrew it,
one problem is the chuck jaws mark the tubes if you
really tighten them- i stick the fork leg in a 4jaw in
my big lathe to unscrew the bottoms.

anyway what skanky forks, he said he had a few sets break
like this. he usually buys a whole leg, complete axle clamp
    and fork tubs.

I could just weld the broken bit back on;-)
